MDA is the most incredible community to be a part of! We’ve met and made friends with so many like-minded dog owners and their fur babies. The amount of love and effort that goes into every single event is unmatched. No event is the same! Greg and the MDA team really makes an effort to make each event better than the last, but always an amazing vibe! We love that they bring out local vendors to each event, so we can support them as well. MDA always puts the safety of the pups first, which is very important for us! The events are so much fun, we suffer from severe fomo when we know we’re gonna be missing one! I prefer not to go downtown if I don’t need to so it’s really nice to have all these amazing doggy events so close to home! Thank you for having these events in the comfort of our own city! Greg is the most amazing person you will ever meet, he makes everyone feel welcome and included. You can tell that he’s super passionate and loves what he does. Greg, you are an angel for the markham dog community, we are so lucky to have you!!

I have been a part of the MDA community for over two years now as both a vendor and a community member, so will comment on both aspects. As a vendor for MDA events, I felt support each and every time I tabled for an event. Greg was responsive, attentive, and genuine in getting to know your business and made sure that you felt taken care of at each event. He works hard to promote each of his events to a broad audience throughout the GTA all while encouraging everyone involved to do the same. At each event, you will see familiar faces because the community loves to support local. Each event is always a blast, and I can't recommend it enough as a vendor. As a community member, I have come to befriend so many dog-owners in the Markham area. Members get to know each other at each event through games, photobooths, giveaways, etc., all hosted by MDA. Even when my dogs aren't feeling up to socialize, I will go to events and still feel the same energy from all the vendors and community members. Overall, I highly recommend MDA and am so happy to be a part of this community! Can't wait to see Markham continue to grow as a dog-friendly city.

When I first got a dog I wanted to do everything in my ability to give my dog the best life possible. About a year ago we started attending Markham Dog Alliance events and it was the best thing that has ever happened to us. Fast forward to a year later and we have made so many incredible friendships (dogs and humans) thanks to attending Markham Dog Alliance events. This group has led me to meet a community of such genuine, warm-hearted people I may not have met otherwise. We have been introduced to so many vendors and charities that promote well being for dogs, allowing us the opportunity to shop and support local for treats, toys, bandanas, and more rather than going through traditional big box stores. Lastly the owner of Markham Dog Alliance, Greg, is such an incredible person with sure pure energy and drive. They put their all into every event that happens and it really does show. I love that Markham Dog Alliance allowed us to make a community of such amazing people and I am so thankful to all the members and vendors who show genuine love to my doggo.

I have been a volunteer for MDA (Markham Dog Alliance) for a few months now and it has allowed me to be part of the dog community in Markham which I must say has amazing and friendly pups and pawrents. The events hosted by MDA has many wonderful vendors with great product and services and they have brought the dog communities together. I love how we can help grow these businesses and also support dog charities and adoption. I really enjoy volunteering with MDA because it makes a positive impact and it’s so much fun!
